In-Person Opportunities
We are so excited to be able to welcome admitted students to campus for our admitted student program, Swatstruck! During Swatstruck, students and their families will have the opportunity to explore campus, meet with professors, and hear from current students about what it's like to be a Swattie.
Registration for Swatstruck is now available at the link in your Swarthmore Admitted Student Portal.
We invite admitted students to engage with Swarthmore through our many virtual offerings or by visiting campus on another day! We are pleased to offer information sessions and campus tours at 9:30 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays; 9 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays: 1:45 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Note that the campus tour starts an hour after the information session times listed above. If you are able to come to campus on a day other than Swatstruck and cannot register online due to event capacity, please reach out to Alondra Romero with your preferred date and time and she will register your visit!

Swat Small Talks
Want to ask a current student about their Swarthmore experience? Dying to learn about the Honors program, Engineering at Swarthmore, or clubs and activities on campus? Connect with a senior Admissions Fellow of your choice during a 20-30 minute virtual conversation and have your questions answered! Register for an optional Swat Small Talk.
Virtual Panels and Tours
We offer a variety of virtual events that are open to admitted and prospective Swarthmore students. Check out the options below to register.
- Wednesday, March 25, 8-9 p.m. ET: The First Year Experience at Swarthmore. Register for Wednesday, March 25.
- Join current Swarthmore students for an hour-long panel focused on what it’s really like to be a first-year on campus. Panelists will share insights about academics, advising, dorm life, orientation, making friends, navigating campus resources, and adjusting to college life. The session will begin with brief introductions and an overview of each panelist’s involvement at Swarthmore, followed by an open Q&A where admitted students can ask all their questions about starting out at Swat.
- Wednesday, April 15, 8-9 p.m. ET: The Visual and Performing Arts at Swarthmore: A Virtual Tour and Q&A. Register for Wednesday, April 15.
- Join current Swarthmore students for an hour long student panel and tour to learn more about their experiences with the visual and performing arts on campus. Learn more about academic and co-curricular opportunities, and see some dedicated arts spaces on campus through a photo tour. Student panels will begin with a brief introduction of our student panelists and an overview of their academic and extracurricular engagement at Swarthmore. The rest of the hour will be dedicated to answering all your burning questions!
- Wednesday, April 22, 8-9 p.m. ET: Summer Opportunities, Research, and Pre-Professional Careers Panel. Register for Wednesday, April 22.
- Join current Swarthmore students for an hour long student panel to learn more about their experiences with summer internships and research on campus. We’ll also discuss pre-professional career paths (pre-med, pre-law) and answer your questions. Student panels will begin with a brief introduction of our student panelists and an overview of their academic and extracurricular engagement at Swarthmore. The rest of the hour will be dedicated to answering all your burning questions!
The following events focus on Swarthmore's international student community and resources for international students, but we invite all students to learn more about the international community at Swarthmore.
- Wednesday, April 1, 8-9 a.m. ET: Finding Your Home at Swarthmore. Register for Wednesday, April 1.
- Thinking about making Swarthmore your home? Join us for an inside look at campus life! This session will give you a glimpse into the vibrant and supportive community that makes Swat so special. Hear from current students about life on campus, including a look at the first-year experience for international students, exploring the transition to Swat, and what it means to find community on campus.
- Wednesday, April 8, 8-9 a.m. ET: Academic Success and Professional Growth. Register for Wednesday, April 8.
- Swarthmore’s academics are rigorous, exciting, and full of possibilities! Join our student panel to learn about strategies for academic success and professional development while learning and working in a second language, featuring students from a range of disciplines.
- Wednesday, April 15, 8-9 a.m. ET: Building a Diverse Community. Register for Wednesday, April 15.
- Join a group of Swatties to discuss practical advice on expanding social circles beyond the international student community and building meaningful cross-cultural friendships.
- Wednesday, April 22, 8-9 a.m. ET: Visa Basics: Navigating the I-20 and Immigration. Register for Wednesday, April 22.
- During this panel, meet Dean Jennifer Marks-Gold and Kathryn Melvin of the International Student Center to see how they support international students before, during, and after Swatties’ time at Swarthmore. This panel will include a breakdown of the essential logistics of student visas, the I-20, and navigating the immigration process as an international student.
