Matchbox Couples Share Their #SwatLoveStory
Hundreds have met their match at Swarthmore — it’s called the ‘Quaker matchbox’ for a reason. So this Valentine’s Day, we asked for heartwarming stories of the alumni who met their special someone because of Swarthmore. And our Matchbox couples did not disappoint. Alumni who hail from near and far shared their first encounters, including some who graduated in the ’60s, some who are graduating this spring, and a couple who found each other in the commotion of Sharples during ‘Screw Your Roommate.’
