Mark Hanis '05 (left) and Sam Bell '05 co-founded the Genocide Intervention Network (GI-Net) during their senior year to address the genocide in the Darfur region of Sudan.  The transformation of the organization from an ambitious idea to an influential force for Darfur in Washington is featured in this article in the Christian Science Monitor.

More information about Hanis and GI-Net can be found in this article by New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof.
