Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid Jim Bock '90 offers a few "dos" and "don'ts" about college admissions essays on PBS' Now this week. "In the end," he says, "the essay is one of the only parts of an application over which you have complete control. It is important for you to take the time to do your best work. After writing a successful college essay, you should feel sure that 'no one could have written this but me.'"
