This is the second year in a row a Swarthmore alumnus has received this honor. In 2006, Miguel Morales '93, then a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Institute for Theory and Computation, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, was also recognized as an emerging scholar.
