Robert Zoellick '75 Begins Term as World Bank Head
Robert Zoellick '75, a career diplomat and trade negotiator, began his term as head of the World Bank on July 1. A former member of the Bush Cabinet who served as U.S. trade representative and deputy secretary of state, he left the administration last year to join Goldman Sachs.
Zoellick, an honors history major who graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Swarthmore, was profiled in a recent issue of the College's alumni magazine.
