Spring Housing Selection for 2020-2021

2020-2021 Spring Housing Lottery Information

*Important Fall 2020 Move-In Day Information*

Returning Students will be able to register for a move-in appointment on the following days/times:

Thursday, September 3rd, 9am-4pm

Friday, September 4th, 9am-4pm

All students will be required to report to the Student Health Center to participate in COVID-19 testing upon arrival at the College. Following taking part in COVID testing, students will collect their room keys at a central location. Additional information about the College's testing protocols and arrival logistics will be shared in the coming weeks.  Because of the requirement for testing immediately upon arrival, we will not be able to accommodate requests to move in after 4pm or before Thursday, September 3rd.  If you need to arrive after 4pm, you will need to arrange for off-campus lodging, and then sign up for a move-in reservation the following business day.   The link to reserve a move-in appointment will be shared when housing assignments are released.

Please note that conditions can change quickly, and travel recommendations/guidelines seem to be evolving without much notice. As such, we do caution everyone that move-in dates and times may be adjusted due to unforeseen factors.  If that happens we will do our best to let students know in a timely fashion.  We encourage anyone making travel reservations to consider purchasing travel insurance, in the event that these dates have to change due to circumstances out of our control or due to any type of illness. We will ask students to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days before arriving, and we'll just ask that anyone who might not be feeling well delay travel until they receive clearance.  In the event that Pennsylvania or the College were to receive new guidance, or a change to the current re-opening plan occurs, we will update students as soon as possible.  Please pay close attention to your Swarthmore email for updates from the College about COVID-19.
