Goals

At the end of the program: 

1. Participants will have a better understanding of how academic leadership contributes to the good functioning and integrity of an institution in a wide range of higher education institutions.
2. Participants will understand the range and various aspects of academic leadership positions available to them at their institution and in their field of study.
3. Participants will have a better understanding of the challenges and difficulties of higher ed leadership.
4. Participants will have a better understanding of how academic leadership fits into their own career paths.
5. Participants will build a support network and cohort of colleagues across institutions who may help them along their leadership path.
6. Participants will be more interested in pursuing a wide range of academic leadership positions.
