Visit from Lab Alums Mary Alice Upshur '12 and Pat Hartnett '11

We enjoyed a great visit from two former Howard Lab members.  Dr. Mary Alice Upshur '12 (Chemistry major) and Dr. Pat Harnett '11 (Biochemistry major) came back to have lunch with current lab members, catch up with faculty and lead discussions in two classes (Environmental Chemistry and Organic Synthesis Seminar) about their career paths.  Both received PhDs in Chemistry from Northwestern and now work at Dow Chemicals in Collegeville, PA.  A "Quaker Matchbox" couple, they live in Malvern PA with their two young kids.
