2013 SPT Participants
This year's SPT participants worked through some rehearsals of Makeshift, an original play written by Jessie Bear and developed in collaboration with recent alums Nell Bang-Jensen, Brian Ratcliffe and Isa St. Clair. Under the name Murmuration Theater, the show debuted in Philadelphia's Plays & Players Upstairs in November, 2013, directed by M. Craig Getting with Set/Costumes by Laila Swanson. Based out of New York and Philadelphia, they are dedicated to creating emotionally-rooted, character-driven work through a nontraditional process.
