50th Reunion Check-In
The Class of 1973 may check in at Parrish Hall, Shane Student Lounge, during the following hours:
- Thursday, May 25 from 11 a.m.–9 p.m.
- Friday, May 26 from 8 a.m.–11 p.m.
- Saturday, May 27 from 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
We welcome the 50th reunion class to campus beginning on Thursday, May 25. Check-in is open in Parrish Hall, Shane Student Lounge from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. All other arrivals are scheduled for Friday. If you are not in the 50th reunion class and are arriving early, we recommend making a reservation at a local hotel.
On Friday, all-alumni check-in is in Parrish Hall, Shane Student Lounge from 8 a.m.–11 p.m.
On Saturday, check-in is in Parrish Hall, Shane Student Lounge from 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
If you have reserved on-campus housing but will arrive when check-in is closed, you may pick up your room key(s) from Public Safety in Benjamin West House. Please notify firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-328-7332 if you anticipate a late arrival.
If you drive to campus, we recommend leaving your luggage in your car upon arrival. Staff will let you know the best place to unload your luggage and park depending on your residence hall assignment. If you arrive on campus via public transit or ride-hailing/taxi service, golf carts will be available to help shuttle you and your belongings to your residence hall.
Swarthmore is in the midst of a transformative period, and there are a number of ongoing construction projects across campus. In light of these projects, you will see construction fencing on campus and paths may be diverted. Alumni Weekend Customer Service and Registration
The customer service desk is located in Parrish Hall, Shane Student Lounge and open during the following hours:
- Thursday 11 a.m.–9 p.m. (50th Reunion only)
- Friday 8 a.m.–11 p.m.
- Saturday 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Sunday 8 a.m.–2 p.m. (open for dorm key and OneCard return only)

Changes to Chester Road
If you haven't been to campus in a while, you will notice there is now a traffic circle on Chester Road (Route 320) south of the SEPTA underpass. Pay close attention to the new traffic pattern.
Five lots are available for general Alumni Weekend parking. All lots are accessible from Chester Road (Route 320) and are clearly marked with directional signs. Parking is available on Field House Lane, in the Cunningham lot (on College Avenue across Route 320), Benjamin West lot, Whittier lot, and DuPont lot (near the water tower).
Additional Parking for Campus Housing
Alumni staying on-campus may park in the student parking lot next to the SEPTA station on Chester Road. To access this lot, you must have a OneCard (electronic key card). You will receive a OneCard during check-in.
Accessible parking spaces are available throughout campus in all parking areas. Only vehicles with state-issued accessible parking placards and/or license plates can park in these spaces; all others will be towed.
