SwatLink: Networking, Mentoring, and Community Building

Swarthmore is pleased to announce the launch of SwatLink, a powerful new networking, mentoring, and community-building tool. 

Use SwatLink to:

  • Network with other Swarthmore alumni
  • Offer mentoring or find a mentor
  • Connect socially based on interests, affinities, region, and more
  • Start an online professional, personal interest, or working group (or relocate your group from another platform)

As members of the Swarthmore community, we want to connect with and help one another. SwatLink makes it easy for students and alumni to find each other for networking, career exploration, or connection based on shared interests or affinity. You can also use SwatLink to connect with alumni in your area. 

SwatLink is private and only available to Swarthmore alumni, students, faculty and staff, and select friends of the College.

We’ve just launched! Join now, see who’s there, then check back later to connect with new members. Students will be invited to join SwatLink in late March, giving alumni time to activate their profiles and create a welcoming presence.

Why Should I Join SwatLink? 

SwatLink features active users who have indicated that they want to hear from fellow Swatties. Each person you see in the "Community” space opted in to the platform and is looking forward to hearing from you. 

And, unlike other platforms, SwatLink filters help you find others based on shared affinity, hobbies, or volunteer interests and to connect with unlimited numbers of members.

Get Started with SwatLink

Setting up your profile takes as little as five minutes. 

  1. Create an account using the email address you use to receive news and information from the College (recommended) or by connecting your LinkedIn account.
  2. Complete your profile to be connected with alumni who best align with your professional background or personal interests.

Additional Information for Swarthmore College Faculty and Staff

We encourage Swarthmore faculty and staff to join SwatLink! Your SwatLink account will allow you to:

  • Reach out directly to alumni for speaking opportunities, virtual classroom visits, and other engagement 
  • Incorporate career exploration and networking into your curriculum and student advising
  • Demonstrate networking etiquette and strategy to students
  • Join or start online groups within the Swarthmore community

To join SwatLink, visit swatlink.swarthmore.edu, click "Join Today," and enter your name and Swarthmore.edu email address.
