Expansion of the universe reveals hints of exotic physics

For millennia, humankind has looked at the stars and wondered how our universe is put together. Astronomers understand more about cosmic structure and history now than ever before, but our current model of the universe has a glaring flaw in its inability to predict the expansion rate of space today. My research proposes an extension to the current model of cosmology, and I’ve shown that this non-standard physics could explain why the universe is expanding as fast as it is today.
