Schaf Schafsnitz (she/her) is the Associate Director for Student Life Operations in the Office of Student Engagement. Schaf comes to Swarthmore College from the far and distant Haverford College, where she served most recently as the Operations Manager in Residential Education & Student Engagement. Prior to that, she served as the Administrative Assistant in Conferences, Events, & Campus Center Services. Both of these roles have allowed Schaf to gain experience in housing operations (both academic and summer), student event planning, student funding access, and much more. Schaf received her bachelor’s degree from Haverford College in 2017, majoring in Chemistry & minoring in Health Studies. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Education, with a concentration in Higher Education Leadership at Villanova University. During undergrad, Schaf worked in the Student Activities Office, Dining Services, and was an active leader within the QuestBridge Scholars community. Outside of work, Schaf spends her time with her cats (Noodles, Socks, and Slonkey), occasionally tries to crochet a blanket, and catches up on reality tv. Schaf looks forward to connecting with the entire Swarthmore community, including the amazing students and campus partners that make this place shine!
