Biographical Statement
Jody Joyner is an interdisciplinary artist working in sculpture, installation, and video. She received her M.F.A. from Yale University in 2016 and her B.A. from Colorado College in 2010. Jody has recently exhibited work at Galerie Timonier (New York, NY), as-is LA (Los Angeles, CA), PENTIMENTI (Philadelphia, PA), PFA Gallery (Washington, DC.), Fleisher Art Memorial (Philadelphia, PA), and Franconia Sculpture Park (Minneapolis, MN). She is the recipient of multiple grants, awards, and residencies including the UCross Foundation, SOMA Summer, the Al Held Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome, and the Josef Albers Traveling Fellowship.
