Care packages from home are a great way to send birthday wishes, encouragement, or just to let your student know you are thinking about them. The following resources will help you surprise your student. Please note that deliveries from off-campus vendors are made to the Benjamin West House (Public Safety), which is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Students will receive a phone call to alert them to a delivery. Vendors do not deliver to dormitories.
You can order a special birthday cake for your student from Swarthmore Dining, complete with a custom message on top. Please allow three days’ notice for birthday cake orders. Contact Therese Hopson at 610-328-8181 or email@example.com to make arrangements; include flavor and size preferences as well as the message to be written on the cake and the student's email address and cell phone number. Checks are payable to Swarthmore College and mailed to 500 College Ave. Swarthmore, PA 19081. ATT: Swarthmore Dining.
