Pat Myers Westine ’61 & Peter Sven Westine ’62

We met several days before his freshman week started in September ’58. (The Athletics Department was holding pre-season hockey and soccer camps.) We dated and got pinned in May ’59, engaged one week before I graduated in June ’61, and married 2 months after he graduated in June ’62. Two children and five grandchildren later, our granddaughter graduated from the College in ’20, an engineer like her grandfather, with a computer science degree too! We were married 46 years until Peter's death in 2008 and I moved to Ashby Ponds, a continuing care retirement community in Ashburn, Virginia.
