Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Elsa Drucaroff is currently a faculty member and researcher at the Instituto Superior del Profesorado Joaquín V. González, and a member of the Department of Literature at the University of Buenos Aires. She is the author of three novels: La patria de las mujeres [The Nation of Women], Conspiración contra Güemes [Conspiracy Against Güemes], and El infierno prometido: Una prostituta de la Zwi Migdal [The Promised Hell: A Zwi Migdal Prostitute].
