“It wasn’t easy moving 5000 miles away from my island community, especially as a FLI student. Navigating a new place and culture comes with many challenges and lots of self-learning. But throughout my time at Swat, I’m fortunate to have found a community who have been supportive and invested in my personal and academic growth. My journey at Swarthmore has fueled my passion for creating positive change in the world, and I am committed to continuing to build and engage with communities that share this vision.”
