Salem Shuchman

Salem Shuchman ‘84 is the founder and managing partner of Entrepreneur Partners, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm he launched in 2005. Prior to this, he was a senior partner at Apax Partners where he headed the leverage transaction group. Shuchman has more than 20 years of private equity investing experience. 

Shuchman rejoined the Board of Managers in 2013 after serving from 2000-12. In addition to his Board service, Shuchman was a Class Agent from 2002-04 and served on the Alumni Council in 1992.  He is an Emeritus Board Member at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a Board Member of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Foundation. 

He earned a B.A. in political science with honors from Swarthmore and the Ivy Award. His wife, Barbara Klock '86, served on the Board of Managers from 1990-93. Their daughter Michaela is a member of the Class of 2016 and their son Jaiden is Class of 2027.
