Dr. Elaine Lee on contemporary visual media representation of Asian women.  The original documentary, "Slaying the Dragon: Asian Women in U.S. Film and Television" was produced in 1988.  Professor Kim will introduce the video rough cut with a discussion of production and pedagogical issues. Following the screening, viewers will provide feedback and suggestions about how to address various gaps and sections that need clarification or focus.

This annual lecture is organized by the Office of Development and Asian Studies, and is sponsored by the Genevieve Lee Ching-Wen Lee '96 Memorial Fund.
