If I cancel my registration, can I get a refund?

Yes, please request your refund no later than May 15. When requesting your refund, you may consider donating your registration fee to The Swarthmore Fund to support current Swarthmore students. You can designate your gift to a specific area such as financial aid, an academic department, an athletic team, the Student Emergency Fund, or whatever inspires you.

Do I need to register my children?

Children 4 years old and under are free and you do not need to register them for Alumni Weekend. Dependents ages 5 to 20 receive discounted pricing and should be registered for all meals and activities.

Is on-campus housing available?

Please note that on-campus housing is only available with an all-access weekend package. Find out more about packages and pricing.

Swarthmore is committed to providing summer housing to students pursuing on-campus or local summer opportunities — or who simply have nowhere else to go. Due to the demand for summer housing and essential deferred maintenance projects, on-campus housing for Alumni Weekend will be limited this year. We anticipate that we will not be able to provide on-campus housing to all those who would like it, although we assure you that every available on-campus room will be used. Registration for on-campus housing will open with Alumni Weekend registration in March. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis; if you would like to stay on campus during Alumni Weekend, please plan to register early.

As a reminder, on-campus housing is limited to basic dorm rooms, which have only the bare essentials: two sheets, one pillow and pillowcase, one blanket and two towels. Bathrooms are communal, and rooms with private baths are not available. Please note that most dorms do not have air conditioning.

In addition to on-campus housing, a limited number of rooms are available off campus at Mary Lyon Hall for a discounted rate. Parking in the Mary Lyon lot is limited and is first-come, first-served, and no street parking is available. Golf cart and campus shuttle service to or from Mary Lyon will not be available during the weekend. If you are interested in reserving housing at Mary Lyon Hall during Alumni Weekend, please plan to register early.
