- You may also wish to consider renting an Airbnb from a local host during Alumni Weekend.
- If you are interested in camping or are bringing an RV, you may wish to consider the Philadelphia South/Clarksboro KOA Holiday Campground (117 Timberlane Rd, Clarksboro, NJ 08020). Tent and RV sites, cabins, and glamping tents are available. Make a reservation online or call 856-326-2565.
On-Campus Housing
Swarthmore is committed to providing summer housing to students pursuing on-campus or local summer opportunities — or who simply have nowhere else to go. Due to the demand for summer housing and essential deferred maintenance projects, on-campus housing for Alumni Weekend will be limited this year. We anticipate that we will not be able to provide on-campus housing to all those who would like it, although we assure you that every available on-campus room will be used. Registration for on-campus housing will open with Alumni Weekend registration in March. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis; if you would like to stay on campus during Alumni Weekend, please plan to register early.
As a reminder, on-campus housing is limited to basic dorm rooms, which have only the bare essentials: two sheets, one pillow and pillowcase, one blanket and two towels. Bathrooms are communal, and rooms with private baths are not available. Please note that most dorms do not have air conditioning.
