Wayfinding for Blind and Low Vision Travelers

This wayfinding service is designed to assist blind and low vision travelers in becoming familiar with walking routes on campus, and to navigate desired routes with the support of an accessible narrative mapping system. Over 100 detailed route directions have been compiled in a searchable database.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking spaces are available throughout campus in all parking areas. Only vehicles with special accessibilities placards and/or license plates can park in handicapped spots; all others will be towed. View accessible paths on an interactive campus map.

Assistance for the Hearing Impaired

Assistive listening devices are available for many Alumni Weekend events, including Alumni Collection. Lang Performing Arts Center, Lang Concert Hall, Bond Hall, Scheuer Room in Kohlberg Hall, and the lecture halls in Science Center are all equipped with assistive listening systems. Student workers will be stationed outside all venues where assistive listening devices are available. Please plan on leaving an ID and phone number as a deposit.
