Kale Good

Kale Good has been teaching guitar to students of all levels in the Philadelphia area since 2006. He has presented at a regional music theory conference, performed at 2 a.m. on the side of a 14,000-foot mountain for a 24-hour mountain biking endurance race, hitchhiked from Colorado to Philadelphia in two days, sailed the high seas on a German tall ship, and completed a frame-off restoration of a 1980's Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
As a teacher, Kale brings this wide range of life experiences into his lessons, helping students make unique, personal connections to the music they play. His primary goals are to help students deepen their understanding of the subtle movements and techniques that can overcome common technical challenges, and to develop their ability to create convincing, individual, and musically-informed interpretations of their repertoire.
