Celebration of Life Honoring Kathryn Morgan (part 1)

The afternoon's event opened with Associate Dean for Multicultural Affairs Darryl Smaw welcoming guests to Sara Lawrence Lightfoot Professor Emerita of History Kathryn Morgan's home-going celebration. Carolyn Mitchell '74 (10:15) then spoke of Dr. Morgan's impact on her students, followed by a performance by the Alumni/Student Gospel Choir (14:10), led by Vaneese Thomas '74. Poet Kinei Braithwaite '08 (25:10) then read one of Dr. Morgan's works, followed by artist Jeannine Osayunde (30:40), who paid tribute in dance. Celebration of Life Honoring Kathryn Morgan (part 2)
