Department Overview

Welcome to Swarthmore College’s LGBTQ+ resources! These resources available to the Swarthmore community and is designed to provide resources and support to individuals who:

  • Identify as LGBTQ+
  • Might be questioning their sexual or gender identity
  • Have questions about the LGBTQ+ community
  • Are looking for people to talk to about their intersecting identities

The variety of resources reflect Swarthmore’s commitment to providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment for the healthy development of all of our students. We are committed to building and sustaining a campus environment that is safe and affirming for all students, faculty, and staff.  

The Intercultural Center serves as the primary point of contact for the list of on- and off-campus resources, support services, and programs available on this digital resource page. Please note, however, that the list of resources is not exhaustive and can be added to or edited at any time by contacting Associate Dean of Inclusive Excellence,
