Nader Almadbooh ’23 Named Newman Civic Fellow
Nader Almadbooh ‘23 joins 211 other students from across the U.S. and Mexico in this year’s Newman Civic Fellowship. The yearlong program is for students from Campus Compact member institutions who demonstrate leadership on their campuses along with a commitment to finding solutions for challenges facing communities locally, nationally, and internationally. Lang Opportunity Scholars Named for Class of 2023

The Front Lines of Change: Tracking Business Behavior During COVID-19
Working with the startup Progressive Shopper this summer, Daniel Torres-Balauro ’23 helped develop the Corporate COVID-19 Index, which uses 14 criteria to evaluate companies’ efforts to minimize worker unemployment, secure worker health and financial security, and support suppliers, community members, consumers, and COVID-19 relief funds.
