Donald Teskey: Landscapes

Painting

One of Ireland’s most acclaimed contemporary painters, Donald Teskey will be artist-in-residence at Swarthmore from Oct. 12 to Nov. 2. His List Gallery exhibition, Donald Teskey: Landscapes, will feature a selection of his expressive interpretations of nature and the built environment. Teskey’s dynamic images of earth, sea, and sky prompt viewers’ engagement with fleeting and timeless qualities in nature. Rooted in observation and a specific sense of place, his works also encourage viewers to explore the contingency of viewpoint and perception.
