Worthstock
Outdoor live music, friends, dancing and...kielbasa? For Swarthmore's annual Worthstock event, that's the recipe for success.
Each spring after classes end and before exams begin, the Large-Scale Event (LSE) committee hosts Worthstock, a music show in the grassy Worth courtyard where people can relax, listen to live bands, and eat Kielbasa.
Students praise Worthstock for its timing and laid-back vibe. "Music, food, and the whole campus out in Worth courtyard for the entire day is the best way to end the year before going home for the summer," says Zachary Nacev '13 of Ft. Thomas, Ky. " It was one of my best memories of freshman year and a quintessential college experience."
