A research article published in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers, and Prevention, a journal of the American Association for Cancer, shows that most Americans—more than 50%—report not knowing how alcoholic drinks affect cancer risk.
Auto-Brewery Syndrome: It's a real thing!
This rare condition produces ethanol (the alcohol in beer, selzters, ciders, wine, and spirits) through endogenous fermentation in the gastrointestinal (GI) system.
