Swarthmore is one of over 35 Questbridge college partners. Questbridge is an organization that works with high-achieving low-income students to help match them with selective colleges. Swarthmore admits some students through the Questbridge National College Match, awarding four-year need-based loan-free financial aid awards that cover tuition, room and board, books, and other expenses. Swarthmore admits many other Questbridge applicants through our Early Decision and Regular Decision processes.
All Questbridge applicants who are not being considered for the National College Match must submit the Swarthmore Questbridge Conversion Form (available after December 1), and indicate an application plan (Fall Early Decision, Winter Early Decision or Regular Decision). Questbridge students who ‘match’ with Swarthmore will be asked to submit this form after December 1.
Swarthmore does not have a preference among any of our application options. Students are asked to submit only one application in an application year.
