Information for Alumni Volunteers

Alumni gathering outside Sharples

Alumni admissions volunteers are a vital part of our outreach, recruitment, and yield efforts. Volunteers interview prospective students, represent Swarthmore at college fairs, and serve as a resource for prospective and admitted students and their families.

For more information about the program, please contact Danielle Fitzgerald '15 in Admissions at admissionsvolunteers@swarthmore.edu.

Download the Alumni Training Manual

The Admissions Alumni Volunteer Training Guide provides information about interviews, interview evaluation forms, and college fairs. This includes details and guidelines about what the Admissions Office would like to learn from the interviews you conduct as well as how to write effective interview evaluations. To receive the Alumni Training Manual, please contact Danielle Fitzgerald '15 in Admissions at admissionsvolunteers@swarthmore.edu.

Submit an Interview Evaluation

It is highly recommended that you submit your interview evaluations immediately following your interview with the student. We also strongly recommend that you save a copy of your write up for your records. Interview evaluations are confidential, so please do not share the evaluation with anyone outside of the Admissions Office staff. Deadlines for submitting interview evaluations can be found in the Admissions Alumni Volunteer Training Guide. To submit your interview evaluations, please find the link in the "YOU'RE A MATCH" email from admissionsvolunteers@swarthmore.edu

College Fair Evaluation Form

After representing Swarthmore at a college fair, please use this survey to share your feedback. This information is very helpful to us as we make our plans for next year. Submit your college fair evaluation.
