I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Swarthmore College. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics and Public Policy in 2008 from Carnegie Mellon University. My general research area is psychometrics and latent variable analysis.

My general research area is latent variable analysis. My focus is on developing new methodology for analyzing models in which the latent variable is the independent variable in an analysis. I have also examined educational policy issues such as teacher incentives and citizen input for high-stake testing policies.
