Interfaith Center

Interfaith Center at the Hormel-Nguyen Intercultural Center at Sproul

Department Overview

The Interfaith Center exists to promote dialogue and understanding among faith traditions, and between people of faith and those who do not belong to a faith tradition. Student Interfaith Interns organize and plan programs and activities and foster communication between different faith groups on campus.

The Interfaith Center is located in the Hormel-Nguyen Intercultural Center at Sproul Hall. This space includes Advisors offices, collaborative student spaces and a prayer/meditation room with wudu station. Bond Hall continues to house the kosher kitchen, Catholic student life, and the Common Worship Room.

Student groups also exist for the purpose of studying religious texts, participating in community service projects, and offering spiritual support and prayer. Various services are available on campus, and area religious communities welcome Swarthmore students.

Any students who would like to form a new group are invited to email the Interfaith Center.
