Off-campus interviews, conducted by trained alumni volunteers, are available to students who are more than a two-hour drive from Swarthmore's campus. While interviews are highly encouraged by the Admissions Office, they are not required for admission to Swarthmore College.
Alumni interviews are scheduled from September through December; scheduling information will be posted in August. When you submit a request for an off-campus interview, please note that it can take up to three weeks to find an available alumni admissions representative. We greatly appreciate your patience during this time. We will do our best to accommodate your request. The information you provided will be used to match you with an alumni admissions representative in your area. Once the match is made, both you and the alumni representative will receive an email with further instructions detailing the process going forward. It will then be your responsibility to set up the interview time, date, and location with the alumni admissions representative.
