Aunt Pam's Downsizing & Estate Services
As a child, learning about recycling made a big impression on Aunt Pam. Learning about the effects on the environment and wildlife of not recycling, made an even bigger impression and has led her to be an avid recycler, that expanded into the love for reducing, reusing, repurposing and upcycling.
Downsizing and 'stuff' management is physical and often highly emotional for older adults and those going through life changes, such as divorce, the passing of a loved one, moving or just overwhelmed by clutter. APD helps sort through your things and decide what to keep, what may be sold and what to donate to non profits and local organizations and community groups who NEED them. Our #1 goal is to keep things out of landfills, while putting them in the hands of those who need them.

Throughout the Greater Delaware Valley, Cityteam is providing hot meals, safe shelter, showers, and clean clothing to our city's homeless population. Located in the heart of Chester, Pennsylvania Cityteam serves those in desperate need throughout the Delaware Valley. Dedicated and caring staff and volunteers reach out to those in need of a hot meal, a safe shelter, and decent clothing. We also offer a recovery program for those men that are on the road of destruction from drugs and alcohol. We connect with low-income families that are in need of an emergency food box to help stretch their income at the end of the month. Mothers with at-risk young children stop by every Wednesday afternoon to receive diapers, formula, and other baby items.
Transition Town Media
We are a group of neighbors and friends working to build a stronger, more resilient future for all of us in the Greater Media Area. Like you, we are concerned about the rising costs of living, climate change, access to healthy food and water, and living in a way that reduces our impact on the planet. We recognize that our government and institutions can’t adequately address all these concerns and that it is up to us, as a community, to strengthen our local economy and to keep ourselves and our families happy and healthy. Transition efforts are designed to help our community become more self-sufficient, economically and socially vibrant, and enriched through personal connection.
