Finding Grant Opportunities

At work in the library

We have compiled information about the programs most likely to award research or sabbatical funding to Swarthmore faculty. When planning your timeline to meet a grant deadline, take into account that preparing your application may take weeks or months: obtaining College approval will take at least a week, and receiving a response from the funding organization could take six months or more. The earlier you let us in SPIR know of your interest in applying, the better we'll be able to support you.

Please keep in mind that some of the deadlines listed are our expectation of when a grant will be due based on due dates in past years and others may be changed by the agency without notice to us. Please be sure to confirm deadlines with the funding agency.
