Summer Housing 2017

A limited number of student rooms are available for rent during the Summer of 2017. Members of the Class of 2017 are not eligible for summer housing, nor are members of the Class of 2021.  While we anticipate having a sufficient number of rooms available for all students who request, priority will be given to students who are a) international students and/or students with extenuating circumstances related to home or travel b) students participating in sponsored summer research and c) students working for an administrative department.  If additional rooms are available, they will be offered to students on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are working for the Admissions Department, your housing will be assigned through your office sponsor, and thus you do NOT need to complete this form.

Location

Mary Lyon Residence Hall

Individual rooms in Mary Lyons are not air conditioned; however, all common spaces and lounges are outfitted with A/C and will be activated all Summer.  Additionally, all rooms are non-carpeted.

Room Types

Doubles, triples, and a limited number of singles may be available for the Summer 2017 Term.  We anticipate that members of the Class of 2020 and Class of 2019 should plan to have a roommate, as the Class of 2018 will receive priority over singles.  If there are more single requests than actual rooms, a student's Spring Housing Lottery Number will be used to determine who will receive a single.

All Summer residents will be assigned a room based on class year, availability, and overall need. If assigned to a double or triple room; individuals can request to select a roommate if they would not like to be matched with one. If a student does not have a roommate in mind, OSE will help individual students find matches.
