Need extra motivation to make healthy lifestyle changes? The Fitbit Pilot Program could be what you're looking for.

Fitbits are designed to help you increase activity, eat healthier, and sleep better. These wearable fitness trackers keep tabs on your level of activity as you go about your day-to-day activities. The accompanying app tracks your health trends over time and helps you move toward your personal goals.

The Fitbit pilot program will consist of each participant setting individual goals and striving to meet or beat them over an 8 week period.

Up to 50-participants are eligible to receive a complimentary Fitbit Flex (contingent upon active participant of Independence Blue Cross).

To join the program:

2.  Attend the four "Get to Steppin" meetings (schedule below)

3.  Wear your Fitbit to track your progress.

4.  Serve as a Fitbit Ambassador

5. Share your progress and earn a chance for incentives.

 

The program begins Thursday, Feb 4, 2016 and will end on March 31, 2016.

Note: participants will be picked at random.  If you already own a fitness tracker and would like to participate in the program, you are most welcome to join us.
