Thomas Hartnett '94
Hartnett is managing director and head of rates and investment grade credit, Americas, for Deutsche Bank. He started his career in financial services in 1999 after completing an MBA at Columbia University. For three years, prior to his work in finance, he was a senior engineer with EME Group. Since 2010, he has also served on the board of directors of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
Hartnett earned a B.S. in engineering from Swarthmore and was appointed to Sigma Xi, the scientific research society. He was also a volunteer firefighter with the Swarthmore Fire & Protective Association. Hartnett joined the Board in 2011. He resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
