Gustavo Schwed '84

Gus Schwed ‘84 of New York, N.Y., is a professor of management practice at the NYU Stern School of Business and a visiting professor at Princeton University. Until 2012, he was a Managing Director at Providence Equity Partners and a board member of TDC A/S in Denmark, Mobileserv in the U.K., Grupo Torresur in São Paulo, Brazil, and Decision Resources, Inc. in Boston. He is currently a board member of Oliver Scholars. Schwed has also worked at Morgan Stanley and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Schwed earned a B.A. in economics with high honors from Swarthmore and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. He is married to Lucy Harrington '85.
