Alumni Council

2025-2026 Alumni Council Membership Photo

The Alumni Council leads the Alumni Association, promotes unity and fellowship among alumni, and advances the interests of the College. Alumni Council members are ambassadors for the College. We share information from the College with alumni, support alumni events, raise issues to the College that arise in the alumni body, and serve students, faculty, and the administration. We stay up-to-date on College affairs, connect with alumni, and support students.

Whether it’s hosting a SwatTalk, organizing a regional SwatMeet event, networking with students and alumni via SwatLink, or presenting awards that recognize alumni for their professional accomplishments and community service achievements, the Alumni Council seeks to engage with all members of the Swarthmore community.

The full Alumni Council meets two times each academic year on the Swarthmore College campus and are guided by their Constitution and ByLaws and Membership Expectations.
