Friends Historical Library
Established in 1871, Friends Historical Library is located on the campus of Swarthmore College in suburban Philadelphia and is open to the public. Its mission is to document the history of the Society of Friends (Quakers) and its concerns from the 17th century to the present.
Friends Historical Library is open Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:30.
During the academic year we are also open on Saturday mornings, 10:00-1:00, when the College is in session. The last Saturday we will be open in the Spring semester is May 11, 2013. We will also be closed on Thursday, May 23, 2013, and on Thursday, July 4, 2013.
