Networking, Class Reunions, Train Rides, and Album Releases

San Francisco: The Swarthmore Business Network hosted a series of fall networking events in San Francisco as well as in New York City; Washington, D.C.; and Philadelphia in mid-November.

Washington, D.C.: This October, Deb Felix ’83 and Dave Hawver ’85 hosted an impromptu reunion for members of the Class of 1983. The group included Pat and Mary Woolson Cronin, Anna Reedy Rain, Fred Marshall, Steve Smith, Dan Mont, Regina Hanlon Barletta, Robb Oerter, Sabina Beg and husband Chris Jones ’85.

West Chester, Pa.: More than 50 alumni, family members, and friends rode the West Chester Railroad (WCRR) Nov. 1 with Physics Professor Frank Moscatelli, a conductor for the WCRR. This group, the largest for a Connections event, learned about the railroad’s history and what’s involved in running a train.
