Two lines of print, two misspelled names in Christopher Densmore’s “Living Black History” (spring 2016): The names should be Ralph Bunche and Melville Herskovits. Incidentally, Herskovits’s daughter, Jean ’56, was my wonderful first history professor at Swarthmore in 1964. Bunche, according to some sources online, was not simply a lecturer but a co-director in 1936 of the Swarthmore Institute of Race Relations.
