Class of 2013 gets mugged
Tuesday, Aug. 25, was the official move-in day for Swarthmore’s Class of 2013. Our quiet campus quickly came to life with the first-year students finding their way around, settling into their new dorms, listening to speeches, taking swim tests, and beginning to experience what it’s like to be at Swarthmore. A couple of days later, the Alumni Office welcomed the incoming class with its annual “mugging” event. Freshmen stopped by to collect Swarthmore mugs, cool off with some ice cream, and sign up to work in the Alumni Office.
