Portrait of the Artist

I came across the New York Times obituary of Harriet Shorr ’60, who died last April, but I found no mention on the College website of her. 

She taught studio art at Swarthmore, became a well-known and highly respected painter/writer, and married fellow artist Jim Long ’71. I think it would be appropriate to recognize her life and work.
