Nicole Breazeale ’99 — Devoted EducatorNicole Breazeale ’99, an assistant professor of sociology at Western Kentucky University Glasgow, was named a finalist for the 2016 Ernest A. Lynton Award for the Scholarship of Engagement for Early Career Faculty. Breazeale has developed a model of service learning for community colleges and regional campuses, pairing place-bound, working-class students with class projects defined by marginalized community groups. She has a sociology Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
