Jason Heo ’15—Schwarzman Scholar

Jason Heo ’15 was selected as an inaugural Schwarzman Scholar, the fully funded one-year master’s degree program at Beijing’s Tsinghua University. As an undergrad, his interests in food security and innovation led him to establish Farepath Inc., a hunger alleviation and technology nonprofit that provides emergency food assistance. After graduating and completing a White House internship, he moved to San Francisco to manage and expand Farepath. He hopes to return to his home state of Indiana and work in the social-innovation sector.
